The Team

Lyz [lyz@lovemine.org]
is a native Californian and we keep her around for her hair and sense of humor. With a B.A. in Political Science and International Political Studies, she lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand and works with the Free Burma Rangers. She’s passionate about the defense of human dignity, and makes T-shirts and friends to prove it.
Lauren [lauren@lovemine.org]
is an East Coast transplant who spent a semester in Northern Thailand while acquiring a degree in International Political Studies. That semester was part of a journey that has led her back again several times, and to Lovemine. She is our administrative wizard, and has a bizarre knack for crossword puzzles.
Tim [tim@lovemine.org]
is a Colorado native who came to Los Angeles to study Film Studies at USC but found himself leading missions at a church in Malibu – a true Hollywood story. There, he discovered a passion for global justice and God’s love realized from the heart of Malibu to the Amazon and of course, into the lives of those in Burma. You can blame him for most of our media and design and every idealistic and impossible idea that comes out of Lovemine.

Rachel [rachel@lovemine.org]
has traveled all over the US and the world, which probably influenced her interest in international social justice issues. She first learned about Burma issues while studying abroad in Thailand as she worked on her International Political Studies degree. With her story-telling skills and extra-friendly energy, Rachel is the life of the party and our communications go-to girl.
